The fuel tanks for generators and fire engines must be located outside due to labor requirements.
As it is necessary to install a containment by legal requirement, this will accumulate rainwater, encouraging the proliferation of disease-carrying insects. In order to avoid this problem, it is necessary to install a cover, which will increase production costs to very high levels.
Germek Equipamentos’ fuel tank is the solution to these problems, as it has built-in containment. It is double-walled and the interstice is monitored by a level sensor that will detect a possible leak. This signal can trigger a supervisory alarm.
The tank is built in accordance with the rules of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT) and has several safety devices.
