Siphon Tube for Manometer or Manovacuometer
The siphon tube has the function of protecting the manometer or manovacuometer from the effects of hot fluids. It is recommended that the temperature of the fluid after passing through the siphon does not exceed the coupled instrument’s operating temperature of 65ºC.
It must always be installed vertically between the Manometer or Manovacuometer pressure register and an elbow or adapter on the centrifugal pump flange making up the manometer kit (on the pump’s discharge flange) or the manovacuometer (on the pump’s suction flange).
