Spring-loaded relief valve for pressure relief in the centrifugal pump housing. It is designed to eliminate excess internal pressure from the centrifugal pump casing of diesel or electric motor pumps. For motor pumps with a heat exchanger cooling system, this valve does not apply.

These valves have been developed to provide relief from overpressure in lines or pressure vessels operating with water or other liquids.
Although these valves do not have pop action, they can be used for steam in installations that are not coded (without legal specifications) and where high discharge needs are not required.

Remarks: It is recommended to replace the spring for settings below 40PSI.
For head above 105mca, check the pressure class of the valve to 300 Pounds.
