Social responsability
Several Social Responsibility, Health, Safety and Environment Management instruments have been implemented and monitored, establishing the planned bases for future certification in Environmental Management. In a project previously started by City Hall of São José do Rio Pardo and the Department of Agriculture and Environment , a Germek Equipment it has an area of 1500m² on the banks of the Rio Fartura, which was granted for environmental recovery, maintenance and conservation. At the same time, the Germek Equipment seeks to meet the stated objective that, for each equipment manufactured and sold, a native tree seedling will be planted in this area.
Actions
In day June 4, 2009 , several children who attend activities at the “House of Culture and Citizenship”, together with representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Environment and representatives of the Germek Equipment , carried out the planting of the first trees.
In day February 12, 2010 , the collaborators of Germek Equipment carried out the planting of 220 native tree seedlings. These seedlings refer to the year 2009, commemorating the equipment manufactured in that year.
In March 11, 2011 , again the employees of Germek Equipment carried out a planting of over 380 seedlings in an extended area on the banks of the Fartura River, referring to 2010 equipment. On this occasion, it was also possible to check the evolution of the seedlings planted by the employees themselves a year before.
